Pasupati spinning is a multi – product and multi – technology company which provides itself the caliber of its skilled people and its expertise in all major technology areas. The company started its operation in producing yarns of international quality by setting up a unit at Dharuhera in Haryana in 1981 with an installed capacity of 12,500 spindles. The capacity was further increased to 22,640 spindles in 1987, producing polyester / viscose and synthetic blended yarns, having an annual capacity of 4000 tonnes.
In the cotton yarn sector, the company commissioned a second unit at Dharuhera in 1992 with an installed capacity of 12,096 spindles for manufacturing polyester and cotton yarns. By the year 2000, the unit’s capacity was further enhanced to 27,600 spindles. Thus, producing 7200 tonnes of cotton and polyester yarns. The range of cotton yarn extends from 10s to 40s count. The 100% polyester yarn produced for knitting and weaving industry comes in the range of 10s to 30s.
The increasing sales and demand resulted in setting up a third unit – an ultra modern unit at Kala Amb, District Sirmour (Himachal Pradesh) in 1996. This facility started with an installed capacity of 12,672 spindles for producing varieties of spun polyester sewing threads, triolbal and Rayon embroidery threads. In order to meet the growing aspirations of the fashion industry, the capacity was increased to 30,672 spindles thus producing annually 6000 tonnes of sewing threads, in more than 3000 shades.
Today, we have a combined installed capacity of 80,912 spindles manufacturing 15,450 tonnes of yarn and threads per annum and the expansion goes on….

Today, with the combined installed capacity of 80,912 (or more than 80,000) spindles manufacturing 15,450 tonnes of yarn and threads per annum, the company had carved a niche for itself on the textile map of the country.
